500 White Hart Lane public meeting
Haringey Council's planning department is chairing a public meeting with the 500 White Hart Lane developer to discuss the project. The meeting is scheduled for:
The meeting location is very hard to find. It's easiest to take the W3 towards Northumberland Park, and get off at the "Tottenham Cemetery" bus stop. From here, walk north on Selby Road. Once you pass through the gates into the centre, look for a building to your left. If you need assistance getting to the centre, please email us back and we'll help.
As always, there's lots more information at the Devonshire Hill Residents Association website. |
Minutes and constitution
Our official inaugural meeting minutes, and DHRA constitution, are now posted to this site! |
Public meeting on 7 April!
We're holding a public meeting as concerned residents, to discuss the proposed project at 500 White Hart Lane, and to found a Devonshire Hill residents’ association.
We hope to see you there! |
Sample letters to write to the council!
If you need help writing up a letter opposing the plans to build a residential complex at 500 White Hart Lane, we have some sample letters on this website as guides. |
500 WHL - seven-storey complex
Spurs have officially filed their development proposal for 500 White Hart Lane. And it's for a large complex of 145 flats with three seven-storey towers, and several other shorter buildings. (up from 140 flats and one seven-storey tower in the earlier version) Can our neighbourhood cope with perhaps 400 new residents (2, 3, and 4 bedroom flats are proposed) parachuted in? There are no plans for any greenspace, shops, or other amenities in the proposal. We have until 14 April to file any comments with the council. Please make your voice heard! |
Pavement reconstruction, Devonshire Hill Lane
The council sent some flyers around today announcing that some of the pavement on Devonshire Hill Lane is going to be resurfaced. The areas in question are the odd side of the road from 231 to 191, and the even side of DHL from Devonshire Court to 106. While it's always welcome to have unattractive pavement fixed up, and it'll definitely improve the appearance of the houses behind those paths, it's a shame that the money isn't being spent on fixing up the disintegrating footpath from DHL to White Hart Lane... |
Welcome aboard!
